This community event features a variety of attractions and entertainment and has been voted the “best NPRA rodeo in the Northwest” for several years in a row. The rodeo runs Thursday through Sunday, including three Northwest Professional Rodeo Association events. Other rodeo events include bull riding, steer wrestling, calf roping, barrel racing and more. The main parade begins Saturday morning after the Kid’s Parade, moving along Main Street. The Philomath Frolic & Rodeo is considered a family oriented event with many activities geared towards children. The Philomath Frolic & Rodeo offers guests food galore, with ample beef and chicken barbeque, and other food booths. The 4-day event provides fun entertainment with carnival rides, a dance, a fiddle jam, bingo, drill team, 5K fun run/ walk and craft booths. Other Attractions in Benton County, OregonBenton County contains a large array of natural areas, historic sites and attractions. One of the most prominent attractions is Mary's Peak, which towers above the area. Visible from Corvallis, Mary's Peak is a popular recreational destination with hiking trails and off-road areas.
